Concrete expansion joint material, sometimes called asphalt expansion joint, is a composition of natural and man-made fibers. Generally, this blend consists of mineral and vegetable fibers, as well as asphalts.  Using heat and pressure, this blend is formulated to create a permanent, waterproof, self-sealing, but flexible material.

When and Where should I use Concrete Expansion Joint Filler Material?

This material is provided in many sizes and amounts.  It should be used for concrete walkways in all commercial and residential concrete walkways, but it is also recommended for driveways, streets, highways and runways.  The filler can also be used against vertical walls before concrete is poured to help protect the concrete or cement in a basement or carport.

We have ¼  and ½ inch expansion joint rolls in quantities of 50 and 100 feet.  Additionally, for those cracks that managed to go unnoticed for a while, we provide backer rod from ½ to 1 ½  inches.
